The HotelScape Forecast uses proprietary models that take into account the macroeconomic climate, the historical performance of the selected group of hotels (using data from STR/CoStar), and anticipated future fluctuations to relevant hotel supply. The consultants at Larkspur Hospitality Consulting, LLC use these data points along with their 40+ years of combined forecasting experience to produce the results contained within the HotelScape forecast.
We have not visited the market nor have collected primary data in terms of interviews with market participants. Forecasts do not take into account any extraordinary events or market anomalies.
While conducting forecasts, we strive to incorporate as many market considerations as possible within the scope of the work. However, due to our volume, individual discussions about our methodology or specific forecast questions are not possible.
